My dad Terry Baumchen was in the B co 2/5 He carried the M60 On that morning of March 9th 1969. This was what he recalls, his platoon layed in the rice patties avoiding the fox holes until there was no where left to go & hoping when they made it to the fox holes there wouldnt be a mine inside. They left the fox hole looking for the CP & the radio which had a giant hole in it. crawling towards the rice dikes. My dad was one of the wounded. The night was long. The memories Longer. Many friends died that morning. Thank you. Kristina Baumchen

Henry Fugett was my first cousin and I still remember him as a boy and young man coming out to our farm at Carleton, MI. He had a gentle manner about him and a pleasant smile. I saw him last during late Aug. or early Sept. of 67 when he visited the farm with his girlfriend prior to deploying to VN. They were two people in love and I have always wondered about the family he never had. When I got to Laos in Oct. 67 I wrote him, but the letter came back stamped "Deceased". Henry, we still miss you....

I found the best Vietnam Wall website that I've seen. It's called www.virtualwall.com. It's 100 percent better than any site I've seen including the government one. Take care
