Our C 2/5 Medic in 71-72, Doc Junkman (AKA Kuzreil Meir or Don Hewitt) recommendind a fascinating book. "The Long Road Home" by Martha Raddatz chronicles the ambush of 1st Platoon C Co in Sadr City in Iraq and the subsequent rescue mission which resulted in 8 KIA. It is well worth the money spent and the time reading. Blessing to all C 2/5 brothers. |
